This tutorial is written for PSP 7.04 but it does work out at other versions :-)
This tutorial is completely my own creation and any similarity to other tutorials, is purely coincidental.
I've got the idea for this tutorial after seeing a picture like this in a Dutch Magazine.
You will need:
Of course Paint Shop Pro. Download 30 days trial here.
Eye Candy 4000.
Selection Files you can download HERE
Eye Candy 4000 Jiggle preset. Download HERE and place it in to your Eye Candy 4000 Jiggle Settings folder.
Color Palette. Click at the palette. A new window will open. Right click to save.
Eye Candy 4000 Jiggle Settings are:
Jiggle will be added to the Heads, Arms and Foot from the Bears.
Open transparent canvas 267x252.
New layer called Girls Head.
Load ks_01_girl_head.sel.
Flood fill with color 1. Contract by 1 and flood fill with color 2.
Deselect.
Add Eye Candy 4000 Jiggle.
Add Noise 5% Uniform.
New layer called Girls Dress.
Load ks_02_girl_dress.sel.
Flood fill with #C0C0C0.
Contract by 1 and flood fill with color 10.
Add Noise 5% Uniform.
New layer called Boys Head.
Load ks_03_boy_head.sel.
Repeat the same steps as the Girls Head steps.
New layer called Boys Pants.
Load ks_04_boy_pants.sel.
Flood fill with #237368.
Contract by 1 and flood fill with color 9 (or any other color you like).
Add noise.
New layer called Girls feet.
Load ks_05_girl_feet.sel.
Follow same steps as the head.
New layer called Boys feet.
Load ks_06_boy_feet.sel
Follow same steps as the head.
New layer called Heart.
Flood fill with color 5.
Contract by 1 and flood fill with color 4.
Add noise.
New layer called text.
Add the text you want using color 6.
Go back to your heart layer.
Selection/Select all.
Click at your text layer.
Add new layer called Heart Cutout.
Cutout V/H 0, Opacity 75, Blur 25, color #551F20.
New layer called Girls arms.
Load ks_08_girl_arms.sel.
Follow same steps as the head.
New layer called Boys arms.
Load ks_09_boy_arms.sel.
Follow same steps as the head.
New layer called Girls Muzzle.
Load ks_10_girl_muzzle.sel.
Flood fill with color 1.
Contract by 1 and flood fill with color 7.
Add noise.
New layer called Boys Muzzle.
Load ks_11_boy_muzzle.sel.
Follow same steps as Girls Muzzle.
New layer called Cheeks.
Airbrush with these settings (color 8):
Gaussian Blur 1,50.
New layer called muzzle details.
Load ks_12_muzzle_details.sel.
Flood fill with color 1.
Add Jiggle but change the settings like this:
Move this layer underneath the cheeks layer.
Go back to upper layer.
New layer called Nose.
Load ks_13_nose.sel.
Flood fill with black.
Apply Inner Bevel Round preset.
Deselect.
New layer called Eyes.
Load ks_14_eyes.sel.
Flood fill with black.
New layer called Dress Details.
Use your paintbrush color #C0C0C0 to add some dots to the dress.
New layer called Ear Details.
Load ks_15_ear_details.sel.
Flood fill with color 1.
Apply same Jiggle settings as Muzzle settings.
New layer called Bows.
Load ks_16_bows.sel.
Flood fill with color #C0C0C0.
Contract by 1 and flood fill with white.
Add noise.
New layer called Middle Bows.
Load ks_17_middle_bows.sel.
Flood fill with color #C0C0C0.
Contract by 1 and flood fill with white.
New layer called Bows Details.
Load ks_18_bows_details.sel.
Flood fill with color #C0C0C0.
Move the Girls feet layer underneath the dress layer.
Move the Boys feet layer underneath the pants layer.
You might want to move the heads a bit down and the feet a bit up.
Save as PSP in separate layers.
Duplicate window.
Merge layers visible.
Tube your creation.
Your are finished.
