VM Natural Lakeside Reflection



This tutorial is written for PSP 7.04 but it does work out at other versions :-)
This tutorial is completely my own creation and any similarity to other tutorials, is purely coincidental.

Needs:
Of course Paint Shop Pro. Download 30 days trial HERE.
VM Natural. You can download it HERE.
Simple Filters. You can download it HERE.

Save your work often!

Open a picture you want to use.
Open new transparent canvas twice the height of the picture you used.
Copy original picture and paste as new layer into blank canvas.
Move it to the top.
Duplicate Layer and flip.
Merge visible.

Shift + D to duplicate.

Minimize duplicated picture.

Effects/Texture Effects/Mosaic Antique.
Columns and Rows 25, Tile opacity 70, Grout width 2, Grout opacity 50.
Effects/Reflection Effects/Rotating Mirror.
H and V 0, Rotation angle 180.

Go to the duplicated picture.

Plug-ins/VM Natural/Lakeside Reflection.
Horizon default (125), Waves 20, Strength 15, Transition Default (127), Red Default (67), Green Default (119), Blue Default (143), Blending Default (0).
Image/Resize 75%.
Sharpen.
Copy and past as new layer into the other picture (the one we applied the mosaic to).

At your upper layer click on the border with your magic wand.
Click at your mosaic layer (bottom layer).
Apply the inner bevel you like the most for the picture you used.
I used the Soft Edge one with default settings.
If you want to can invert the selection, add a new layer and apply a cut-out.
