Mouse and Pumpkin (Selections)

This tutorial is written for PSP 7.04 but it does work out at other versions :-)
This tutorial is completely my own creation and any similarity to other tutorials, is purely coincidental.

I've got the idea of this tutorial making a snail mail card using a picture like this.

Needs:

Of course Paint Shop Pro. Download 30 days trial HERE.

My Selections. Download zipfile HERE.
Place the files in the PSP Selections folder.
At the zipfile also the extra's I have used.

Open new transparent canvas 400x350.
New layer called Wheel back left.
Load from disk ks_01_wheel_back_left.sel
Flood fill with Linear Gradient. Foreground color #C55237. Background color #DAA063. Angel 0, Repeats 1.
Inner Bevel with these settings:

Deselect.
Noise/Add Noise 8% Uniform.

New layer called Wheel back left.
Load from disk ks_02_wheel_back_right.sel
Flood fill with Linear Gradient. Foreground color #C55237. Background color #DAA063.
Add same inner bevel as above.
Deselect.
Noise/Add Noise 8% Uniform.

New layer called Back Pumpkin.
Load from disk ks_03_back_pumpkin.sel
Flood fill with #A7372E.
Deselect.
Noise/Add Noise 8% Uniform.

New layer called Pumpkin.
Load from disk ks_04_pumpkin.sel
Flood fill with #D8613B.
Deselect.
Noise/Add Noise 8% Uniform.
Selection/Select All.
Cutout V/H 0, Opacity 75, Blur 50. Color #5F3405.
Deselect.

New layer called Front wheel left.
Load from disk ks_05_front_wheel_left.sel
Flood fill with same gradient as back wheel.
Add same inner bevel as above.
Deselect.
Noise/Add Noise 8% Uniform.

New layer called Front wheel right.
Load from disk ks_06_front_wheel_right.sel
Flood fill with same gradient as back wheel.
Add same inner bevel as above.
Deselect.
Noise/Add Noise 8% Uniform.

New layer called Door.
Load from disk ks_07_door.sel
Flood fill with #D77942.
Deselect.
Noise/Add Noise 8% Uniform.
Selection/Select All/Float.
Cutout. V/H 0, Opacity 75, Blur 50. Color #A85632.
Dropshadow V/H 1, Opacity 50, Blur 1. Color Black.
Repeat dropshadow but change V/H to -1.
Deselect.

New layer called Seat.
Load from disk ks_10_seat.sel
Flood fill with #A56745.
Noise/Add Noise 8% Uniform.
Move this layer underneath pumpkin layer.

Go back to your top layer.
New layer called Crown.
Load from disk ks_08_crown.sel
Open crown file.
Copy and paste into selection.

New layer called Left mouse.
Load from disk ks_09_left_mouse.sel
Open crown file.
Copy and paste into selection.

New layer called Right mouse.
Load from disk ks_11_right_mouse.sel
Open crown file.
Copy and paste into selection.

Go back to your pumpkin layer.
Add new layer called Inner wheel front left.
Load from disk ks_12_inner_wheel_front_left.sel
Copy ks_innerwheel file and paste into selection.
Deselect.

Add new layer called Inner wheel front right.
Load from disk ks_13_inner_wheel_front_right.sel
Copy ks_innerwheel file and paste into selection.
Deselect.

Go to layer 1.
Add new layer called Back wheel left.
Load from disk ks_14_back_wheel_left.sel
Copy ks_innerwheel file and paste into selection.
Deselect.

Add new layer called Back wheel right.
Load from disk ks_15_back_wheel_right.sel
Copy ks_innerwheel file and paste into selection.
Deselect.

Lower the opacity from both back wheels and both inner back wheels to about 75%.

Go back to your top layer.
Load from disk ks_16_details1.sel
Flood fill with #564023.
Blur/Gaussian blur 1 or 2.
Lower layer opacity till your are happy with it.

New layer called details2.
Load from disk ks_17_details2.sel
Flood fill with #E6D4BF.
Blur/Gaussian blur 1 or 2.
Lower layer opacity till your are happy with it.

New layer called details 3.
Load from disk ks_18_details3.sel
Flood fill with #564023.

New layer called hinge.
Load from disk ks_19_hinge.sel.
Flood fill with a gold gradient.
Add round inner bevel.

Go to your back pumpkin layer.
New layer called details 4.
Load from disk ks_20_details4.sel
Flood fill with same gradient as the wheels.

Shift + D to copy picture.
Merge Visible and export as tube.

Save the original without merging as PSP file.

You're Finished.
