This tutorial is written for PSP 7.04 but it does work out at other versions :-)
This tutorial is completely my own creation and any similarity to other tutorials, is purely coincidental.
I've got the idea of this tutorial making a snail mail card using a picture like this.
Needs:
Of course Paint Shop Pro. Download 30 days trial HERE.
My Selections. Download zipfile HERE.
Place the files in the PSP Selections folder.
Open new transparent canvas 510x362.
New layer called Back basket 1.
Load from disk ks_01_back_basket1.sel
Flood fill with ks_wood3. Size 150%. Angel 135.
Leave selected.
Selection/Invert.
Drop shadow. V -2, H 0, Opacity 75, Blur 10. Color black.
Blur/Gaussian Blur 2,5.
Deselect.
New layer called Back basket.
Load from disk ks_01_back_basket.sel
Flood fill with ks_wood3. Size 150%. Angel 135.
Leave selected.
New layer called Brush back basket.
Airbrush tool. Color black. Scale 50. The rest 25.
Brush a bit in the left part.
Deselect.
New layer called fruit.
Leave this layer for now.
New layer called Right front basket.
Load from disk ks_02_right_front_basket.sel
Flood fill with ks_wood1. Scale 35%. Angel 160.
Deslect.
New layer called Left front basket.
Load from disk ks_03_left_front_basket.sel
Flood fill with ks_wood1. Scale 35%. Angel 18.
Deslect.
Hide layer 1 and the back basket layer.
Merge the other two layers visible. Call Front basket.
Inner bevel with these settings:
New layer called Basket lines.
Load from disk ks_04_basket_lines.sel
Flood fill with black.
Deslect.
Blur/Gaussian Blur 1.
New layer called Top basket.
Load from disk ks_05_top_basket.sel
Flood fill with ks_wood1. Scale 35%. Angel 0.
Selection invert.
Dropshadow. V -5, H 0, Opacity 75, Blur 10.
New layer called Back handle.
Load from disk ks_06_back_handle.sel
Flood fill with ks_wood3. Scale 150%. Angel 90.
Deselect.
New layer called Front handle.
Load from disk ks_07_front_handle.sel
Flood fill with ks_wood3. Scale 150%. Angel 90.
Selection invert.
Dropshadow. V -5, H 0, Opacity 75, Blur 10.
Deselect.
New layer called Towel.
Load from disk ks_08_towel.sel
Copy ks_towel and paste into selection.
Selection invert.
Dropshadow. V -5, H 0, Opacity 50, Blur 10.
Deselect.
New layer called button.
Selection tool set to circle.
Draw a small circle for the button on the handle.
Flood fill with wood 1. Scale 35. Angel 0.
Inner bevel with same settings as above.
Selection/Invert.
Dropshadow. V/H 1, Opacity 75, Blur 10.
Deselect.
