This tutorial is written for PSP 7.04 but it does work out at other versions :-)
This tutorial is completely my own creation and any similarity to other tutorials, is purely coincidental.
I've got the idea of this tutorial making a snail mail card using a picture like this.
Needs:
Of course Paint Shop Pro. Download 30 days trial HERE.
My Selections. Download zipfile HERE.
Place the files in the PSP Selections folder.
At the zipfile also the face I have used.
Open new transparent canvas 334x346.
New layer called Inner Egg.
Load from disk ks_01_inner_egg.sel
Flood fill with #AEA093.
Deselect.
Noise/Add Noise 8% Uniform.
New layer called Fairy.
Load from disk ks_02_fairy.sel
Flood fill with #8D869B.
Deselect.
Noise/Add Noise 8% Uniform.
Load from disk ks_03_face.sel
Flood fill with #E1DDD0.
Deselect.
Noise/Add Noise 8% Uniform.
Load from disk ks_04_outer_egg.sel
Flood fill with #F3F6F7.
Deselect.
Noise/Add Noise 8% Uniform.
Load from disk ks_05_fur_right.sel
Flood fill with #BCD8DA.
Deselect.
Noise/Add Noise 8% Uniform.
Load from disk ks_06_fur_hat.sel
Flood fill with #BCD8DA.
Deselect.
Noise/Add Noise 8% Uniform.
Load from disk ks_07_hand_right.sel
Flood fill with #DACEBC.
Deselect.
Noise/Add Noise 8% Uniform.
Load from disk ks_08_hand_left.sel
Flood fill with #DACEBC.
Deselect.
Noise/Add Noise 8% Uniform.
Load from disk ks_09_fur_left.sel
Flood fill with #BCD8DA.
Deselect.
Noise/Add Noise 8% Uniform.
Load from disk ks_10_lines.sel
Flood fill with #79685C.
Deselect.
Noise/Add Noise 8% Uniform.
Blur/Gaussian Blur 0,50.
Lower layer opacity.
Copy ks_face file and place it on top of the face layer.
Move layer underneath Fur Hat layer.
Go to your top layer.
Draw tool. Change size to 1 and foreground color to #D1CABE.
Draw a few lines for the fingers of the left hand.
Do the same for the right hand.
Go to your Outer Egg layer.
Selection/Select All/Float.
Add new layer.
Airbrush tool. Color #BCAB97. Size 75, Hardness 25, Opacity 25, Step 25, Density 25.
Spray some color on the edges.
Blur/Gaussian Blur 1.
Go to your Fairy layer.
Selection/Select All/Float.
Add new layer.
Airbrush tool. Color #695764. Size 25, Hardness 25, Opacity 25, Step 25, Density 25.
Spray some color on the edges.
Go to your Fur layers on by one.
Selection/Select All/Float.
Add new layer.
Airbrush tool. Color #FFFFFF. Size 25, Hardness 25, Opacity 25, Step 25, Density 25.
Spray some color on the edges.
New layer called straw.
Export the ks_straw as tube this way:
Add several straw layers. A few on the top and a few at the bottom.
Add straw tubes, different sizes at the straw layers.
I colorized some layers.
Colors/Adjust/Brightness/Contrast with -15 to -50.
Shift + D to copy picture.
Merge Visible and export as tube.
Save the original without merging as PSP file.
You're Finished.
