This tutorial is written for PSP 7.04 but it does work out at other versions :-)
It is written on request ((Dutch) colleague of mine).
You will need:
Of course Paint Shop Pro. Download 30 days trial here.
Blade Pro Silver. Download trial here.
You can view larger pictures from settings by clicking at the small preview pictures.
Open a new canvas the size you want your Television to be.
I used 400x300.
Flood fill with white.
Effects/Plug-in Filters/Flaming Pear/Silver
Apply these settings:
You now have something like this:
Use your magicwand with these settings and click inside the frame.
Hit delete key once.
DON'T Deselect!
You now have something like this:
DON'T Deselect!
Open the picture you want to use for the television program.
You might have to resize it a bit.
Copy the picture and paste into selection. If you don't know how to do well :-)
here you go:
Make picture layer active. Edit/Copy. Go back to your television layer (still
selected inside remember). Edit/Paste/Into Selection.
Deselect.
Add a new layer and call it cutout.
Apply a cutout with these settings:
Apply another cutout but change the horizontal and vertical to -10 (minus 10).
Depending on the picture you might have to change the settings a bit.
You now have something like this:
If you want a television without the big black border follow the next step.
Go back to your television layer.
Click once at the black outside of the television.
Hit the Delete key at your keyboard.
Image/Canvas Size/600x500.
Add new layer.
Draw the legs for the television in the shape you like the most. I used the
triangle preset shape. Foreground color closed, background color black.
Apply the default settings from the Round Inner Bevel.
Move this layer to the bottom.
Go back to the upper layer.
Add new layer.
Foreground color white, line 1, background black.
Draw a little round button, using your preset tool, and apply same inner bevel as above.
Copy this button by right clicking (at the layer palette) and choose duplicate
layer and move into position. Make as few or less as you want.
This is what I have now:
Without the black border:
Save as psp file (not merged) so you can change the "television program".
You can save it as tube if you want.
Decorate your television with plants or place it into a room.
